Supernova Expo 08 30 Mar 2008

Today my brother and I went to the Supernova Expo, which is in a way, Australia's own Comic Con. Celebrating everything that is nerdy and geeky, I was there for the first time. And it was also a day I can show off my geekiness. There was everything from animes, comics, wrestling, games and even Movie and TV celebrities. Celebrities at the expo: John Rhys Davies (Gimli from Lord of the Rings trilogy), Lou Ferrigno (The Hulk from the Incredible Hulk TV show), Micheal Winslow (Lavel Jones "Sound effects guy" from Police Academy movies), Colleen Clinkenbeard (Voice of Monkey D. I decided to add a concept art gallery to the Gallery section. May be interesting or not. Basically its just a collections of concept sketches from my handy sketchbook. Its a busy life 15 Mar 2008

Two weeks into my Masters course at RMIT on Filmmaking and I'm very excited. How awesome is it that you actually study by watching movies. I'm such a movie geek and this is just heaven for me. Not to mention, we get to have our hands on some nifty equipments and I'll be shooting stuffs. I have some ideas in mind I want to try. Anyway, with the website out of the way and my studies going full time, I'll still make time to do some of my animation works such as Hapless 2, Beyond Wonder and Pink Color Episode 2. Plus I'm writing the script for the first fully-voiced MJC episode. But with that in mind, I'm now leaning towards filmmaking so there are new project based on films and shorts. So there is alot of things in my tiny freakish mind and hopefully I can get some done. Very ambitous indeed :P

The Max J Studio Website is now up! 15 Mar 2008

Finally! After a long while, the official website of Max J Studio is finally up! Its has been a long process for me to compile all of my works and showcase them to you, the fans in the way I envision. Without relying on the backup websites such as Deviantart and Myspace, I'm so glad to have my very own stand-alone, all-created-by-me, website! This is a rather simple design with 60% HTML and 40% Flash, making the Max J Studio website looking very spiffy and professional-like. That way, this will be easier to update the website in the short time. So what you waiting for? Go around and explore my new website!
